Our work directly powers this vision across our core programs:

Eradicating systemic barriers through our Social Justice and Health and Wellness Equality initiatives.

Desired outcome

The Family Business Foundation measures its long-term success by the tangible, generational transformation of kids & families within the Greater Raleigh/Durham NC (RTP), Lancaster CA and Baltimore City, MD areas across our core pillars. By aligning our specific initiatives—including the Pathway Transit Rideshare, Education and Reading Literacy, Social Justice, Food Justice for Kids, Disaster Recovery in Lancaster, and Health and Wellness Equality—into an integrated strategy, we track our impact through measurable milestones in safety, academic growth, and community resilience.
We evaluate our progress by the number of students securing safe transportation, the advancement of youth literacy rates, and the eradication of systemic food and health inequities across our regions. Ultimately, our success is defined by empowering vulnerable youth to break cycles of poverty, fostering inclusive environments, and building sustainable, equitable communities where every child has the opportunity to thrive for generations to come.
